Cookies

The website is hosted by Squarespace which provide cookies that are used for analytics to track unique visitors. This is helpful to understand how the website is used and helps us demonstrate it is being used for finding funding. This also provides functionality in terms of remembering your previous visits and for example hiding the cookies banner when you visit again. The cookies are still optional: they are disabled by default unless you click ‘I consent’ on the bottom banner.

Data we collect

This website is hosted by Squarespace; the data servers are located in the USA. Squarespace has done work to ensure it complies with GDPR which you can read here.

IP addresses: Please note when you visit the website your IP address can be visible to the website adminstrators; Squarespace uses this data for Analytics functions such as seeing which countries visitors are coming from. Website adminstrators do not use your IP address for any other purpose but it is generally advisable to use a VPN for your Internet browsing to hide your IP address.

Newsletter: If you sign up to the newsletter, you provide us with your e-mail address. We currently keep this e-mail address in a Google spreadsheet and delete your e-mail manually when you unsubscribe (the aim is to check our inbox at least once a week). The newsletter is sent as posts from Google Groups. Google’s Privacy and Terms policies are available here.

Rotation reviews: When you submit a review, this is anonymously done via Google Forms which then transfers this data to a Google spreadsheet. The website administrators reserve the right to and will delete any information on the spreadsheet that is identifying as soon as they identify it on the spreadsheet, which we aim to review weekly. The comments from trainees will be aggregated and paraphrased to avoid anything judged potentially identifying features or turns of phrase. We reserve the right to omit any review content that is considered inappropriate or unprofessional. We will try and publish reviews when there are reviews from at least two trainees for each site. We will notify the relevant department’s trainers of reviews to give them an opportunity to add responses or comments. The reviews are anonymised so it may not be possible to identify you if you wish to change your review after the fact. Please be aware of the cookies Google may use to track your Google Forms session for example. Google’s Privacy and Terms policies are available here.
